Synonyms | Softener ES |
Molecular Formula | C43H86ClN3O3 |
PH | 5~7 |
Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical Properties The main component of this product is imidazoline cationic surfactant, which is an emulsified body. The appearance is off-white slurry. It can be miscible with water and diluted into emulsion in proportion. It is washable and can be mixed with cationic or non-ionic surfactants. |
Use | This product is used as acrylic fiber softening agent, polyester product softening agent additives. This product can be bound to the salt of the fiber, and thus has a wash resistance. It can be used in combination with cationic and non-ionic printing and dyeing auxiliaries. When in use, a small amount of hot water is used to adjust the slurry, and then the required water is added to the appropriate concentration. |
Light loading and unloading should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry warehouse.
Put stearic acid and diethylenetriamine into a reaction kettle, and raise the temperature under nitrogen protection to dissolve the stearic acid. Start stirring and continue to heat up to 120 ℃. Conduct dehydration reaction, cool to 110 ℃ when no water is removed below 170 ℃, and add epichlorohydrin within 1.5-2h. After adding, reflux at 115-120 ℃ for 2-3 hours, cool to 100 ℃, add glacial acetic acid, sodium acetate aqueous solution, and sodium bisulfite aqueous solution, and stir to form a slurry. Adjust the solid content as needed.
The preparation is divided into two steps: ⑴ The reaction of stearic acid and diethylenetriamine produces 2-heptadecyl-N-aminoethylimidazoline; ⑵ Imidazoline quaternization. The two-step reaction is completed in the same reactor. The specific preparation method is as follows.
Put stearic acid and diethylenetriamine into the reaction kettle, and raise the temperature under the protection of nitrogen to dissolve stearic acid. The starting stirring continues to raise the temperature to 120 ℃. Dehydration reaction, cooling to 110 ℃ when there is no water under 170 ℃, and adding epichlorohydrin within 1.5~2 h. After adding and refluxing for 2~3 h, cooling to 100 ℃, adding glacial acetic acid, sodium acetate aqueous solution and sodium bisulfite aqueous solution, stirring into slurry. Adjust the solid content as needed.
